Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior React Native Engineer to serve as their in-house mobile authority. This is a high-impact role where you will take full ownership of the company’s mobile applications — from architecture and offline synchronization to release management and performance optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, development, and continuous optimization of our React Native applications.
- Design and implement robust offline-first architectures and advanced data synchronization strategies.
- Own the complete mobile app lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and release management.
- Optimize app performance, scalability, and reliability across iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate closely with founders, product, and engineering teams as the primary mobile expert.
- Establish best practices for mobile development, code quality, and performance.
- Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance the mobile experience.
- Ensure pixel-perfect implementation and maintain high UX standards.
Required experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in React Native development.
- Proven experience building and maintaining offline-first mobile applications.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing data sync architectures.
- Experience with mobile build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of mobile architecture patterns and best practices.
Bonus points
- Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
- Experience with push notifications, background tasks, and deep linking.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring and analytics tools for mobile apps.
- Knowledge of backend integrations and REST/GraphQL APIs.
