We're seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer who’s ready to get hands-on with cloud-native technologies, streamline pipelines, and learn from the best as we scale systems that empower teams and products to operate at peak performance.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and troubleshoot automation scripts using Python.
- Operate in a Linux environment, managing servers, packages, and system configurations.
- Use Git for version control, handling branching, merging, and deployment workflows.
- Containerize applications using Docker and configure web servers such as Nginx.
- Assist with cloud infrastructure tasks across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Gain exposure to monitoring, logging, and container orchestration tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Kubernetes.
- Continuously learn and implement improvements to infrastructure under guidance from experienced engineers.
Required experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-focused role.
- Practical experience writing automation scripts using Python.
- Experience working in Linux-based environments, with strong command-line and server administration skills.
- Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborating with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization and deploying applications in isolated environments.
- Experience configuring or managing Nginx for web traffic routing or load balancing.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and a willingness to dive deeper.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows and experience supporting or building pipelines.
- Awareness of infrastructure monitoring, logging, or container orchestration tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes, ELK).
- Enthusiasm for DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement.
Bonus points
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or any container orchestration tools
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, load balancing)
- Implemented or contributed to monitoring/logging pipelines (ELK, Loki, Prometheus, etc.)
- Prior work with security best practices in DevOps (secrets management, IAM, etc.)
- Experience in agile environments or working closely with developers in a DevOps culture
